Bloggers meeting (JB’s mistakes )#1
Jordan bloggers meeting,
Now I am going to the meeting , but I want to post this before I go , and will update it if it’s necessary when cam back.
Before talking about my points I want to say:
With All respect for who ever is managing JB website NOW,I hope you take my points as positive criticism to improve your website ,it really needs to be improved way too much , and needs to be taken care of much more than before , it’s a JORDAN’S BLOGS aggregator I hate to see it like that, it makes me really miss JORDAN PLANT more : (
I have three points:
1-JB announcement for the meeting
2-JB as website
3-JB as blogs aggregator

New Location: Jafra Café
New Time: Starting at 5:00pm
New Date: December 6th 2007
Who can attend: Bloggers, Future bloggers, Readers and their families.We had a great time in every blogger gathering we had in the past and it’s time to do it again. But this time we actually have an agenda (other than getting to know one another)
Agenda for this meeting:
1. Discuss how we, as bloggers, can become better citizens in support various activities in the community. (Naseem Tarawneh’s Baqaa camp efforts as an example)
2. What can we do to make a difference? (Husain ordeal as an example for making a difference)
3. Introduce new bloggers. This is arguably the best part
4. Express and exchange ideas on “How to make the Jordanian blogging community a better place for everyone”Alright all, please help us successfully organize this event by sending us an RSVP by emailing me at

Just at Aya blog Big thanks for her (oh and later Maiush and Jano post it), Note that in JB website (the most important site to post it) says nothing about the meeting not even a link, banner, or any thing , more over MANY bloggers didn’t know about the meeting I emailed some and got a Reply as ” WHAT MEETING you’re talking about ?”
In the past , in such meeting arrangements all JB members got Emails , add to that more than one post about it is published, along with follow ups about who’s coming and who’s not the new faces …etc
Jafar Café :
Unknown place ( opened exactly before a year and two month )
as you see no location listed , no phone number , not even a small map for it , or a brief about it or any thing , the parking ..etc, although many bloggers blogs about it and give their Reviews so at least link to it , specially it’s a place supported by communist’s group ,
Time: 5.00pm
“5.00pm Thursday “who ever picked the time ignored 3 important things
First : The peak/rush hours in Amman is 3-6 pm , specially to down town
Second: many of the bloggers are Working and most of the companies leaving hour is around 5, so they must leave work and go to the meeting directly
Third: note that it’s a Thursday night meeting at Jafra “downtown” at 5.00pm, it takes till 6 to gather, by 7 or 8pm the place gets crowed and becomes very noisy, as any café on a Thursday night in Amman , also many guys gather with there friends on Thursdays and not willing to skip it.

Defined We?

The strange thing is that there’s nothing in the website tell US what is JB , the team , the people who runs it, we used to always hear from the JB manger in past, but the last few months we had no clue about the team and what’s happening.
The question is why am I interested??
simply cuz I really like to know who’s publishing my feed’s , I don’t want to be surprised later to know maybe JB is a profit project or the organization that runs it have a certain political view, hidden policy, or maybe if its a full volunteer work, I don’t want to be taken by surprise with any of this.
The last point about the agenda
Who’s Naseem Tarawneh?? And Husain??
For me I know both of them, but for some bloggers who never visited their websites or don’t know them well, how should they know what its all about?? and another point
Both of them use nick names in there blogs: Black Iris and Who-Sane, I believe it’s more common than there real names
And about the topics to be discussed, “for example” why there’s no links for it , again so everybody can follow up and know what exactly is going to be discussed and give them a chance to be prepared or at least have a clue.
The rest of point in another post , there’s much more to talk about it , but i guess this quite enough for this post .

Nice job Muaffaq..
I accidentally passed by Aya’s blog a while ago and so the announcement of the meeting.
As a relatively new blogger, I’d have loved to attend such an event to get to personally know some people who are behind those web pages called blogs. Yet, the place is unknown to me, that’s not a big deal as I can ask about it. But the timing!!!!!!!
Ya3ny as u mentioned most of us work in private companies, and for those who don’t know, work finishes at 6 in most of such companies! Not to mention it’s Thursday!
What’s wrong in making it for example on a Saturday at around 6 or 7 in the evening?!
Just a suggestion for a possible future meeting..

you people are so silly… sorry but why the hell does it matter for you who ones the freaking thing, why don’t you just enjoy it, do what you have to do, say whatever comes to your mind, and in a way or another they will get it, see it, or notice it.. jad enkom betnarfezo, it’s like dealing with people from KG, I don’t understand, why do you look at things based on who owns it??? We will be taking all of this under advisement and the next Jordanblogs Committee (to be elected soon) will take actions to make sure that your concerns are addressed.

اوف اوف , شبكي!!! و ليه كل هلحكي هاد !!! هلا تركتي كل شي و مسكتي السطر انه ليه كان البوست عندها بس بعدين ماملها شي والله يعطيها العافيه و جهودها مشكورة ,
الإجتماع كان ل اعضاء جوردن بلجز ما كان اجتماع خاص بشخص معين , و الإجتماع ما كان تسلاية كان الو هدف و نقاط واضحة يتم النقاش فيها و انحطت النقاط و تم النقاش فيها كمان طلعنا بخلاصة اجتماع , يعني مو ميتنج بس تعارف هاد اجتماع مختلف عن اي اجتماع تاني انتي بس تجي و بدك تتعرفي على البلوجرز اكيد الميتنج بكون مختلف و ترتيبه مختلف كليا , و كل النقاط يلي زكرتها و علقت عليها كان لهدف تحسين الإعلان وتحقيق الهدف المرجو منو , مو بس انتقد , وكل انتقادي لجوردن بلجز مو لآية ابدا لأنه كان لازم يعطوها اكتر من هيك بكتييير
, وما في منها اي انتقادات شخصية ابدا ,
اذا عندك اي تعليق على نقاطي انها غلط او وجه نظر مختلفة يا ريت انك تحكي فيها و تناقشي اما تحكي متل هيك لأنك منرفزة مابيمشي الحال

ما حكيت شي غلط ابدا , بعدين تعريف الموقع واحد من اهم عوامل نجاحه و الضروريات , شو الموقع و شو هدفه مين المسؤول عنه و بمثل مين بالزبط !!!عطيني موقع واحد بيعرض بلوجز عربية مو معرف عن نفسه و واضح مين هوه و مين بشتغل فيه بطريقة او بإخرى
دون ,صوتنا, قويدر بلانت, توت ,جوردن بلس, تدوين ,….ألخ كلها مواقع معرفة عن نفسها مهمتها و العاملين عليها
ما الت شي غلط ابدا حتى تحكي كل هالحكي هاد يلي مالو طعمه
بعدين حدى يألي انه جوردن بلوجز عبارة عن عمل تطوعي بحت و مالكه ما بدو منو شي غير انه يكون موجود و بس , وهو مثلا بحاجة لفريق و مساعدة معينة ما في حدى بقصر اذا توفر عنده الوقت و الرغبة ,
و شو دخل خالد بالنص هلا؟؟؟ خالد ما قصر و عمل يلي عليه وهوة اصلا ماكان متفرغ لهاد الشي , و ضل فترة منيحة الموقع يتغير لحتى اعتمد على نظام و برنامج معين يستخدمه , و ايد وحدة ما بتزقف حدا ساعده ماحدى مابعرف ,بس بعتبر وضعه كان احسن من هلا
بتعرفي انه جودرن بلوجز عم ينزل ما عم يطلع عم يصير اسوء يعني , ولازم ينتبه على هي النقطة اذا حب يستمر ك موقع ناجح , بعدين يلي مالو اد الشغلة ما يفوت فيها دخل فيها و شاف حالو مالو ادران عليها يطلب مساعده ,و ولا لازم يستنى الناس تألو بدك مساعدة خاصة اذا كان العمل تطوعي مية بالمية و مافي من وراه فائدة مادية معينة
وبرجع بحكي انه العتب على جوردن لوجز لأنه كان لازم يقدمو اكتر من هيك دعم يبعتو أيميلز , لينك و غيرو

Another thing Don’t EVER think, that i spend my time typing something like this out of nothing or without a purpose.. and its NOT A PERSONAL criticism , its something related to MY WORK Analysis ,Consultant ,marketing and advertisement

I am ,an IT guy spend more than 12 hour’s ONLINE EVERY SINGLE DAY,ADD to that ME Addicted to blogging , i REALLY know how things going on there, I’m talking to JB own sake and as i see they get my points ,
NOTE my Site Rank is more than JB site ,So don’t think that I get that benefit from being in JB as it get it from me,I MADE MY WEB SITE TO BE AS IT NOW, and believe me its not easy , JB have a long journey
In my blog roll i had more than 270 blogs all over the world , and i really do my best to keep my blog ALIVE and deliver my Thoughts to ALL people out there .. Who want to MAKE SOMETHING ,HE SHOULD WORK HARD AND DO ALL WHAT HE CAN DO TO MAKE IT, NOTHING EASY AT ALL at the end he get back as he give it …

wallah it was nice, for me i met like 3 new guys :) and liked them , we talked about the points and things was cool ,
and some ppl say they are coming and as usual they did’t coming , and the meeting not like any other meeting
plus all what i say about the place happen the noisy other things oh and there was a BirthDay too :D

تانيا: الوقت و انه يوم الخميس فكرك أنا ما عنجي اشي غير الاحتماع انا عمري 19 و ازا كان يوم الخميس بهم حدا ف أكيد بهمني أكتر وحدة لانه عندي خياة اجتماعية :) بس بردو كنت كتيير متشجعة للاحتماع بس عالعموم المرات التانية انشاء الله رح يكون يوم سبت أو جمعة

هاد هيك البلوغرز بعملو ما عتب على الناس الثانية، واسمحولي هون بكم كلمة صغيرة مع إني مو عضو بالجوردان بلوج
أولا أنا ما بعرف حدا فيكم فلا تحكو إني متحيز ل حد ضد حد
ثانيا اللي بحكي قباني عن وجود تعريف بالناس اللي قائمين وأهدافهم والأمور الأخرى إشي مشروع، مو لأنو خايف إنهم إرهابيين أو غيرو لأنو هاد هو الاحترافية في الأمور
ثالثا من حيث المكان أظن إنو وسط البلد مكان جدا مزدحم وجفرا زي ما حكى قباني مش جدا مكان مشهور فكان واجب التوضيح
وزي ما حكى أدووش مين فينا دوامو بخلص قبل الساعة 5:30 من شركتو، حتى اللي إلو عمل خاص ما رح يكون فاضي في هداك الوقت
رابعا قباني خف شوي يا رجل ما كان الرفق في شيء إلا زانه
أخيرا إن شا الله الاجتماع الجاي بكون أحسن وأحسن ودايما انظروا للأمور من نص الكاسة المليان

اولا : الإعلان مكان عندك , بعد بإسبوع صارعند ميوش , و بعدها ب 3 ايام صار عند جانو و قبل بيوم عند قويدر , و الأهم انه ولا حدا فيهم بيقدر يجي
ثانيا : تشجعك جميل :) و الله يعطيكي العافية اكيد المرات الجاية بكون غير
ثالثا: مالي مضخم شي , و ما بإدر اعتبره الي لأعرف بالزبط شو هو و شو هدفو و ين بدو يوصل , و الباقي ببعتلك ياه ايميل , احسن مارح احكي هون
بس اطلعي على كل المواقع التجمع للبلوجز العربية كلهن معرفين عن حالهن و مين هنن
رابعا: موضوع الأسماء في 3 من الحضور ما عرفو مين حسين التميمي بعدين اللينك للموضوع اكتيير ضروري مشان يكونو بالصورة مو اكتر
خامسا : اهلا و سهلا و الحمد لله انه وجودي بالإجتماع كان مفيد و عمل شي ولو بسيط
الأسباب شو ما كانت , الواحد بيعمل يلي عليه انه ما يخلي عليه اي مأخد و ساعتها بتكون كلل الحجج ماألها طعمة و حكي فاضي
بس في حجج اكتير الواحد بيقدر يستخدمها ك تبرير كان بالإمكان تفاديها :)
يلا و متل ما التي انتي الواحد بتعلم و بيعرف مع مين عم يتعامل :)
